William Adams Architects is an award-winning full service architectural firm with an intense focus on design exploration and execution. The office works to provide inspirational, thoughtful, and functional spaces in every project, fulfilled only through a diligent effort in detailing and construction. Our work has ranged from warehouse to playhouse, with offices, retail, multiple, and single-family housing in between. We view our interests as solving problem situations, finding the essence within, and organizing inspirational spaces for the people who use them.

Consistent throughout our work is the use of natural light, dramatic yet elusive space, materials that are expressive and consistent with their function, solar and environmental control, natural ventilation, natural materials, and careful detailing. The firm currently consists of two partners, William Adams and Carl Smith, and 4 drafting staff.
