Commercially zoned with street level store front
possibilities plus additional, separate access to a two
story environmentally responsible residence. The
exterior finishes of the new building appropriately blend
with the commercial aspect of the street, mainly steel
framed glass columns, concrete and glass. The primary
residential level sits above the commercial space
delineated as one large open loft space supplying the
platform for entertaining. It includes the chef/
entertaining modern kitchen accentuated with top of the
line appliances and timeless surfaces such as Carrere
marble and chocolate walnut cabinets. The third story is
reminiscent of the interior of a string instrument lined
with floor to ceiling bamboo planks. The master suite is
directed away from the street with a secondary bedroom
suite overlooking lively Abbot Kinney. A third room is
designed as flex space.
