About Modern Austin.
The only real concept here is to raise awareness of the history of modern home design in Austin and to encourage continued development. This will encompass:
Features on exisiting homes including mid-century examples and contemporary. Ultimately we hope to create a map of all existing modern homes/areas and document as much as possible the history behind their creation.
Interviews/features/listings for architects, designers, builders, developers, ? basically anyone who is working to further good design locally.
For Sale listings. One of the frustrating thing for those looking for modern homes is wading through hundreds of listings that you have absolutely no interest in.
Renovations. Both restoring modern examples and transforming traditional homes into modern dwellings.
More as appropriate.
